On the 12th and 13th of April 2018 there was the second eMTB-Tourism Study in Latsch in Vinschau South Tyrol. The goal of the event was to increase the network over the different boarders and to professionalize and invest furthermore into eMTB tourism. This happened with more than 80 people from the industry, tourism, media and form this year’s focus – marketing. For Ride La Val Janine Clavadetscher joined the two day meeting.
The conclusion of the two days: We have to look at eMTB from different perspectives, we need new and fresh approaches and have to think in bigger dimensions. The needs regarding infrastructure are very diverse and a big challenge and get even more complex for all the involved parties like hotels, guides, rental places and shops. The extreme diversity of the end user also means a wider marketing strategy which has to integrate different channels. With the e-movement we have to think far out of the (bike)-box.
