The Hotel Helvetia in Müstair, run by the fourth generation of the Grond family, is the Bentley of the hotels in the valley. A complete renovation and new building was completed in 2015. The kitchen offers a 5-course evening menu with local, regional and international dishes, the basic products of which come as far as possible from the valley. You as a biker are very welcome here, because Anita’s/Pierre Rene’s and Olivier’s kids also bike here like the „big ones“.
And you know what? From autumn 2023 you can enjoy absolute relaxation in the newly built wellness resort. #uuhuarlässig right?
Perfect for Ride La Val bikers because…
you can feel good there! You sleep on a pine pillow, in a pine or box spring bed – pure sleep quality. So that you are fresh again for the next day on the bike, you can really sweat it out again in the evening (from autumn 2023) in the new indoor pool or in the pine, salt or finnish sauna. Or after you’ve flown the trails with us, float (hover) over the salty #floating pool. If you still have some energy in the tank, you can get rid of it in the in-house gym. And your bike will also be taken care of: a lockable bike garage and a washing service for bikes and bikers are available.
Our guides love to stop here for a snack, because they have the best hamburgers there – even in the afternoon! The guides also rave about the «Filet Narber», the Pizzocchels and much more…

The location
The Hotel Helvetia is located in the heart of Müstair, at 1,270 meters above sea level. Perfect for you, because Müstair is the ideal place to end tours and just right for depth meter collectors. It is also an ideal starting point to start new tours the next day. Next to the hotel you can buy your bars in the Volg before you start with us or grab a sandwich and a piece of nut cake at Caterina Bott’s bakery/ confectionery. If you make the altitude difference with the Postbus, the post office is just around the corner! The RLV guide and Romex (shuttle) usually pick you up right in front of the hotel. If your bike needs service, the INN Bike Shop in Müstair is only a few minutes away!
